A-HD (By BPI Sports): Review

What does A-HD Do?

A-HD is described as “ultra concentrated testosterone support”, by the manufacturer BPI sports.

A-HD contains elements that are androgenic, as well as anti-estrogen.  The official website states that this product is designed to work alongside a “proper diet and exercise program”.

Furthermore, users will achieve a “more dry looking physique” because A-HD helps to support healthy “free” testosterone levels whilst at the same time, suppresses estrogen with its unique feature known as “Anti-Estrogenic”.

Testosterone Increase From using A-HD

Just like all our entire testosterone booster reviews, we arranged for 10 volunteers to use this product for a period of 28 days.  We tried to ensure that none of these individuals had previously used any type of testosterone boosting supplements prior to this trial.

Our in-house physician performed two blood tests on the individuals concerned.  The first blood test was carried out before the commencement of this trial, and the second blood test was carried on the 28th day.

On average, our volunteers experienced a very respectable 37.6% increase in “free” testosterone levels.

We feel that in terms of its testosterone boosting capabilities, A-HD falls among the very best testosterone boosters available today.

Strength Increase from Using A-HD

As with all of our supplement reviews, we prefer to use the bench press exercise to measure, as accurately as possible, any noticeable increases in strength that may have occurred during the 28 day trial.

The strength test is carried out on the final day of the trial, which allows the product time to demonstrate its “strength increasing” capabilities.

A-HD proved to be an extremely effective “strength increaser”, because on average, the volunteers saw a 40% increase in the amount of weight that they pushed during the bench press exercise.

Fat Burn From Using A-HD

A-HD continued to impress in the “fat burning” department.  Unlike most of the other testosterone boosters that we have reviewed on this site, this product has not failed to impress in terms of its fat burning and weight loss capabilities.

Without going into finer detail, six guys dropped one trouser-size during the 28 day trial.

Is It Side Effect Free?

Unfortunately, A-HD did cause a number of side-effects in our volunteers.

Two individuals experienced mild bouts of diarrhea, three found it difficult to sleep at night and two developed very mild acne like spots.

Are The Ingredients Safe?

The main ingredients in A-HD include Niacin, the unique A–HD Proprietary Blend, Safflower, Flax, Ginger, Indian Padauk, Turmeric, Cardoon and Propolis.  According to our expert, all of these ingredients are considered to be safe for frequent human consumption.

However, this does not rule out the possibility of the ingredients changing behavior, once they become mixed with one another. This may possibly explain the side-effects that our individuals experienced during this trial.

Is It Adequately Priced?

You can pick up a month’s supply of A-HD for around $48.99.  This is certainly not cheap, specially when you aren’t told the exact amount of each ingredient.

On this basis, I have to stress that A-HD is NOT adequately priced.
